Who We Are
Hope Ministries has become a powerful testimony of community transformation in Northern Kentucky, springing from the humble roots of what used to be a longtime hardware store in Florence. Under the leadership of Pastor Dithson Noel, the space was reimagined into a place where thousands of families from seven counties can receive free clothing and food with dignity, choosing what they need rather than being handed items without choice. Every Wednesday, volunteers pack backpacks with food, hygiene supplies, and warm materials for people experiencing homelessness, sometimes serving up to about 40 individuals in a week. The ministry operates without income qualifications and continuously accepts donations, driven by a vision to be known as a “gift to the community” and a place where people can always come for hope and support.

Director - Dithson Noel
Dithson serves as the Director for Hope Ministries and the Community and Missions Pastor at Florence Baptist Church in Florence, KY, where he leads with a heart for equipping believers to meet needs and share the hope of Jesus in their communities. For more than a decade, he has been helping people live on mission, locally, nationally, and internationally. His ministry journey includes roles as a church planting mobilizer with the North American Mission Board and as Evangelism Coordinator at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dithson is passionate about seeing the church mobilized to love their neighbors well and take the gospel to the world. He and his wife, JaNahn, are raising three young children who keep life full of joy and adventure.
